To raise vital funds to ensure we can meet all the costs associated with running and maintaining the community hub.

Sedbury space is a community hub in the heart of Sedbury. We cater community lunches, fish & chip quiz nights, advice sessions, various support cafés including cancer advice/chat.

It is vital our building is clean and welcoming and our volunteer Lynn does an amazing job with this. However the carpet is many years old and although shampooed regularly the age and use has made it impossible to "look" clean.

We are a registered charity and run totally on donations and grants, with 98% of staff being unpaid volunteers from within the community.

The hub is a vital part of the community providing a solution to social loneliness amongst many other community challenges. Our free community lunches are cooked and served monthly within the hub and are always fully booked within days of advertising.

We were blessed with a recent redecoration gifted by a local business which has made the hub look clean and bright, we now need to replace the flooring to match the gleam from the new decor.

In addition to the new flooring we need to raise funds to keep the hub running as we as a charity are responsible for the payment of all bills and supplies.
