Directors & Trustees

Chair: Mr Lee Durbin

Lee has recently been appointed Chair of Sedbury Space following our 2021 AGM.    Lee has lived and worked in the area for over 20 years with his family,  working as a teacher at Wyedean School.   Lee is very much looking forward to seeing how he can support the work Sedbury Space is carrying out in the community.

Trustee: Mr Richard Skinner

Richard lives and works in Sedbury. He is employed by the Forest of Dean District Council as a Community Well-being Agent.

Treasurer: Mrs Karen Maggs 

Karen has lived in Sedbury for 25 years and during that time has always been involved in the community.  Most notably she was Brown Owl at Sedbury brownies for 15 years as well has having been the Business Manager at Offa's Mead Academy.

Secretary and Safeguarding Officer: Mrs Carol Clammer - Carol retired from her Community Education role with Monmouthshire Council in 2000. Since then she has been active in the community with a particular interest in local history.

Company Secretary and Health and Safety Officer: Mrs Susan Riordan. Susan has been employed as the part time centre manager for 3 years, until her retirement in June 2023. She was appointed to the committee at the AGM in July 2023, and is able to bring her knowledge of the ins and outs of running Sedbury Space to the role.

Mr Graham Drew - Graham, a retired Crime Scene investigator, lives in Sedbury and serves on the committee as a representative of the Parish Council.

 

Part-time Centre Manager

The Trustees at Sedbury Space are delighted to introduce Samantha Hopper to you as our newly recruited Centre Manager for Sedbury Space. Samantha will be in post from 23rd September.
